Channeled

Hello out there,

Lately I have been dealing with bouts of migraine headaches. Its getting the the point where I am having them everyday. There is something that I need to pay attention to. I have gone off balance and need to get back to the root, get back to my heart. I am doing so, I am paying attention.  In one of my bouts of headache, I went into a blissful meditation and channeled this passage. Maybe it came from myself, maybe from Spirit. I wrote it in my journal and then felt that I needed to share it, so here it is. Let it be as its supposed to, let it touch whoever its supposed to touch. I let it go into the universe.

There are many changes taking place. It is time to make the transition to the next dimension. It will be difficult at times, you are sensitive, but know that all will balance out soon. There is a battle going on right now and fear may be trying to creep in, but fear is weak. It will dissolve. There is much to do and we are sending people to help. Just reach out your hand. You are a part of this transition. Dont get lost, there is no such thing. Be present and know that every experience will lead you to enlightenment, bliss. Pay attention. Love is still there, this is the most crucial time to actually see it.  Those who continue to believe  in Love will be the examples for the transition. Hard as it might be and even if you feel scared, or defeated, continue to believe in Love. It is all there is.

New life will continue to emerge and a path will be opened, a continuation, but never the end. Share in this and be a part of it. Things will be different, but the same. Let go of the old and bring in the new. We are all capable of being strong, just trust and go with the path and you will see you are right where you are supposed to be.  Earth change, physical change, energetic change, you will all feel it. Most important to go into your heart. No one can lead the way except for yourself. Come together. Lead separately, but together. Balance in community, you are all teachers.

Peace,

Rachel

Change is good

Hey Everyone,

I feel like its been a while since I blogged, probably about 3 or 4 weeks.  To be honest, I haven’t been motivated. There could be many reasons for this. Mars, the planet of energy, motivation, power, also war, is in retrograde. Went into retrograde in mid Dec and will stay that way until early March.  So to all of you out there that are planning on starting any new ventures and want to have a lot of energy and force behind them. I would suggest waiting until March.

With that said, maybe that could be a force that is feeding my un-motivated self. I also feel very stagnant and constricted. As we may all feel at some points in our lives. Whether it be with our career, jobs, relationships, places we live, friends, etc. We can notice the sign posts, usually a big one is not feeling inspired, not feeling excited about life. I am here to say that feeling that way sucks! Its time for change, and its time to take the risk to make that change!

For myself, it might be relocating somewhere else. I feel like I need a change of scenery.

What I am trying to say is that we get so “comfortable” in our day to day lives, sometimes living half  of the whole life we are supposed to live. Its time to fully live! Its time to fully be present with life and lead it where you want it to go. Lead it with your heart.

This is why its important to check in with your heart everyday. How is it feeling? Is it exactly where it wants to be? Is is doing what it wants to do?

Lately I have seen people almost being pushed to change things in their life. Its like the Universe is saying “Uh Ah, no more, its time to find your aliveness, its time to fully live”. Suddenly, they are taking those steps to change. It may be hard or uncomfortable at first, but its sooo worth it!

I invite all of you to check in with your selves and see what needs to change. For those of you in the process of change, I send you much love and blessings. You will get through it.

Peace and Love.

P.S Remember meditation is always wonderful for guidance. Be still, be silent and the next step will be revealed. Today I am promoting The Element of Peace a beautiful instrumental meditation CD that will help you get into that heart center. It will also promote relaxation for mind, body and soul!

New Years Resolution: Get Connected!

In a lot of my work I talk about re-connecting with your heart.  It is the heart wisdom within us that is our true connection to everything else. Visible and non visible. For many of us we have lost that connection.  We are so busy these days trying to get to the next best thing. Trying to get ahead.  Justifying that we are doing all this because it will eventually lead to our happiness.

But we are missing one key element. Our heart, what does our heart tell us?

When we fully connect and become conscious of that space. When we feel the warmth radiating from our inner being. Suddenly there is an overwhelming sense of clarity that has washed upon us. Maybe your heart is telling you to slow down. Maybe its telling you to spend more time with the genuine people in your life. Maybe its telling you that the happiness you are working towards is already there, within you.

treeStop and take a look around you. I mean, REALLY take a deep look around you. Beyond what you see on the surface. Feel around you. Connect.

And from this connected space…live.

I watched the movie Avatar the other day and it prompted me to write this blog. In my opinion it was one of the best films I have ever seen. It touched my soul on such a deep level. I would suggest anyone to go see this film. For me, it was a lesson about being connected and fully conscious with what is around you. Living in balance with “energy” ,”Source”, “higher consciousness”, whatever you want to call it.

It was also a lesson about taking responsibility and being accountable. The hardest thing to do is to turn the mirror on yourself and really SEE yourself.

There was a powerful quote in the film that really resonated with me. ” I see you”. Its an acknowledgment of inner being. ” I see you” the real you, the soul that you are. It was beautiful and magical. I really dont want to spoil the film and that is why I am being so vague. I also really want you all to go see it =)

With that said I challenge you all to GET CONNECTED in the new year and to flow with that connection into the many years to come. Really re-evaluate what is important to you. Meditate on it. We have to stop living blindly, we have to take responsibility for our own lives. There is beautiful energy all around us, it is love. Its the energy that make the trees grow and the grass green. Its the energy that makes this Earth so special. Its the energy that we came from…love, and our connection is our heart. flower

Plug in.

To all of you out there, “I see you”.

Have a happy new year! Peace and love!

Sitting Stones

stonesTonight I sit pondering upon this picture of sitting stones.  From a quick glance it just looks like sitting stones arranged neatly in a zen formation. But look beyond the physicality of the stones and instead look at their wisdom and teaching.

Yes, believe it or not, we can learn a lot from these stones. For these stones are living in the present moment. The past has already happened and they are not really worried about the future. They are just there. Being.

The stones seem happy and content, not worried about what they look like, or how others will perceive them. For they know that they are perfection. They are connected fully to their infinite wisdom. Their gift is not something that you have to pay money for or have years of education. Their gift has always been with them.

They pass their gift along to whoever will slow down to pay attention, they do not expect anything in return. For they are happy just being. This is all they need.

What great examples these stones are. Some of our best teachers go unnoticed.

Peace.

Self Care For the Holidays and Everyday

Its December and yes, we are right smack in the middle of holiday season. Truly, this is a wonderful time. I actually love this time of year. There is an energy about it, an essence that permeates throughout everything.

The holidays can also be stressful on us and we can tend to lose ourselves in the hustle and bustle of it all. This is why its important to practice self care. Remember the more you give yourself self care, the more energy you will have for other people.

Does this mean you are selfish? No, it just means that just like anything else, you need to re-fuel and re-energize.

For example, what would happen if your car ran out of gas?  Well, thats easy. Your can wouldn’t run anymore.  So you have to gas it up again and give it the energy that it needs to run.

Imagine yourself as that car, but most of the time we do not notice the empty light on. So we go and go and go until we exhaust ourselves. Sometimes we treat our cars better then ourselves. Ya think?

So this holiday season I have put together a small list of some self care tips that you can use to stay present and energized this holiday season. It wouldn’t hurt to implement these tips even after the holidays as well. ;)

1. Sleep- Don’t forget to give yourself plenty of rest, know that you are important and in the whole scheme of it all, things can wait.

2. Meditation- give yourself time to breath and reflect. Give yourself some clarity. Or unwind and relax. Meditation is known to drop blood pressure and relieve anxiety.

3. Exercise- physical activity such as yoga or walking can help you feel better and release any unnecessary holiday jitters.

I can go on and on with the list, but most of all, what brings YOU joy?  What brings YOU peace?  What reconnects you with YOUR heart?

Do this, and your golden!

Have a wonderful holiday, filled with peace and love. May your heart always guide you to your joy!

Please enjoy this meditation video below. The music is from The Element of Peace by Ryan O’Neill and the photos are by Angela Jenkins.

This Thanksgiving give thanks to those you don’t want to thank!

photo by Angela JenkinsAhh…Thanksgiving.  For me, this holiday brings such delight.  I love cooking, getting together with family and friends, eating, drinking, talking!  It brings such joy.  The essence of Thanksgiving is all about gratitude and giving thanks to those we love and care about; whether it’s our family, loved ones, friends, animals, plants…etc.  We give thanks to those that play or have played a significant role in our life and who have graced us with their love.  We already feel love for these people; we acknowledge them in our daily lives. This is after all a piece of cake or pie…right?

So here’s the challenge!…

What if this Thanksgiving we gave thanks to the people we don’t want to thank?  Stay with me here.  This coincides with my previous blog about seeing challenge as opportunities. I would like to share a personal story with you.

There was a time in my life when I had contemplated leaving my work as an Intuitive Coach. Maybe I have insecurities, maybe I had doubts.  I went to work for a company that in my mind was the best thing that could have happened to me.

To make a long story short; it was a very traumatic and challenging time in my life.  My boss was a living nightmare.  I never knew someone could treat others in such an inconsiderate way.  I thought to myself “how could this be?” “This is what I’m supposed to be doing, right?” I endured this boss for 6 months, until one day, I couldn’t do it anymore and I left.  I was hurt and betrayed.  Little did I know; my boss at the time was the best thing that could have happened to me.  If it wasn’t for them treating me poorly and me leaving the company, I may not have come to realize my full life’s potential and purpose.

I realized I cannot work without my heart; and when I work from my heart I touch a lot of people.  Of course there were other people who helped me realize this as well, but I needed a little cosmic two-bi-four from the universe to really wake me up.

So what I’m saying is that as much as I wanted to forget this person; this year I’m going to give thanks to them because they were also a catalyst in helping me connect with my heart purpose.

Once again, there are people in our lives that may have been challenging, hurtful, inconsiderate, heartless, egotistical, etc.  But think about where you are not because of them.  How have you grown?  Have you had to make a decision that inevitably put you in a space to help you see clearly?  Did they help you see your life’s purpose?  Did they help you see who you REALLY are?  Did they open your heart?

EVERYONE plays a role in your life; even the one’s we want to forget.

So this Thanksgiving give thanks to those you don’t want to thank!

Peace.

Challenge as opportunity

Photobucket

We are told so often to look at the positive in our life. To draw upon the people and events that bring us gratitude. But what about all the crapy stuff that happened along the way?  The people that may have not been the nicest or compassionate, the events that made us feel like we couldnt go any further and that we just wanted to crawl in a hole somewhere. Are we supposed to just brush that under the table?  So here’s the challenge.

Take some time to reflect on the people and events you wish you could just forget, but this time look at them deeper. See how they too are part of who you are and where you are now. Instead of looking at them as negative, I invite you to see the opportunity.

What did you learn from those people or events?  What was the opportunity?

Sometimes our biggest growth comes from challenges. Sometimes our biggest growth comes from the lowest part of us. The keyword is ‘growth’. Because no matter what you do or think, you are still moving forward.

Even if you still may have negative emotions about these events. I invite you to see the higher lesson of it all. I promise its there, you just have to look deeper. And in the midst of your discovery if you can add forgiveness, or at least start to, then you will know how to turn a pile of sh*t into a beautiful garden.

Peace to you my friend.

In the wee hours

It is the wee hours of the morning and for some reason I am awake. Its the weirdest thing, but sometimes I will get waken up in the middle of the night, when stillness surrounds everything and everyone is sleeping. Ok Spirit, what do you want me to listen to, what am I not hearing in the hustle and bustle of daily life.

I am up, I am listening.

Peace surrounds me as I take a deep breath. I feel compassion in my heart.

There are so many times that I want to save the world. When I want to help everyone and everything. When I beat myself up if i can not help, change, “awaken”, etc. But when I meditate on the idea, that it it is not my responsibility to “help “everyone, to open my arms to everyone that may cross my path, I feel relieved and calm. There are many of us out there who hold the weight of the world on our shoulders and I am here to tell you that you have a choice. That weight is just an illusion. Keep your heart open with compassion to everyone, but know and understand that not everyone has to be in your life. Especially if they are not serving you on your path. Honor yourself and your human experience. Its ok to say no. Its ok to say, I don’t want that person in my life. Stop trying to help/save everybody and start to help/save yourself. Because when you are in your full energy and potential, you are a beautiful example to the world and that my friend is the biggest gift you can give to anyone.

Peace.

Moment of pondering

I wanted to share this beautiful video with you all. There are times when we need to ponder, when we need to look beyond what is in front of us to actually “see clearly”. This video shares beautiful images, music and quotes from some beautiful teachers and human beings. We all need to remember who we are, we are divine beings of light and energy and we are physical and human. It is important to live lovingly in balance and awareness within these two realms. I believe the convergence of these two realms reside in our heart. You are human and you are divine, you are physical and you are energy, you are nothing and you are everything. I hope this video moves you as much it has moved me. Namaste.
